2 Disadvantages of manual trimming

This phenomenon not only causes the waste of handling, but also has the disadvantages of low production efficiency and poor quality stability. And the work load of molding staff is insufficient, which is a waste of "people and other equipment".
3. Improvement of trimming process
In view of this phenomenon, we adjusted the trimming process route through the fine calculation of the relevant data of the molding site. Transfer the "dedicated individual site trimming" to the molding process, and the molding worker is responsible for trimming the edge. This adjustment successfully solved the problem of handling waste, and at the same time, the molding worker completed the trimming work, and also eliminated the waste of "people and other machines".
However, due to the increase of the trimming work of the molding staff, the situation of product missing repair and damage often occurs. It is necessary for us to further improve this process. To this end, the technical Department tried to introduce "punching and trimming" into the trimming mode of product BAC1141, and adjusted the existing "manual trimming" operation mode to automatic punching and cutting operation mode.
Before improvement
Manual trimming, by 2 people to the product one by one trimming, each product share 70 seconds, low work efficiency, product damage occasionally occurs.
After improvement
Punching and trimming, by the forming operator 1 person operation, the inner hole and the outer ring are divided into 2 times punching, each product share 40 seconds, high efficiency, stable product quality.
4 Change to outcome assessment
With the introduction of punching trimming method, the trimming time of each product is reduced from the original 70 seconds to 40 seconds, the production efficiency is increased by 43%, and the quality of the product is effectively guaranteed.
